Kiedy w 2011 roku Berliner Jazzfest zamówił komedowski projekt u braci Olesiów i Christophera Della odetchnąłem z ulgą, że nadarza się szansa, by powstała muzyka, o którą i samemu Komedzie chodzić by mogło. Muzyka, która weźmie się z tradycją za bary, ale nie podepcze jej i nie znieważy. Ale też i nie będzie przyglądać się mistrzowi i jego myślom w niemym, klęczącym podziwie. Ci nieliczni, którzy mieli okazję usłyszeć tę muzykę na żywo wiedzą, że szansa została wykorzystana. Tym, którzy okazji po temu dotychczas nie mieli chciałbym ten album ze szczególna radością ofiarować.
